Tucker, Helen Alane
Peacefully at Afton Park Place on Monday December 5, 2022, Helen Tucker passed away at the age of 96, just three weeks short of her 97th birthday. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Stan Tucker. Loving mother of Valerie (Ron) Prior, and Richard (Michele) Tucker. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (David), Gregory (Inmarie) Spencer, and step-grandmother of Micheal, and Dan (Miranda). Loved by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Elijah and Mary Anne Ayrheart, her brothers and her sisters. Helen loved quilting, camping, knitting and anything that she could craft with her hands. She especially enjoyed her BINGO games at Fairwinds Lodge and Afton Park Place. Family and friends will be received at the McCormack Funeral Home, 254 George Street (at College Avenue) for visitation on Saturday December 10 at 12 noon, to be followed by a Funeral Service at 1 pm. An Interment will follow at Wyoming Cemetery. Remembrances and condolence may be expressed to the family online in “Helen’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. Sympathy may be conveyed through the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #162, Sarnia.
