I miss him very much! Marcels words of encouragement, his stories of difficulties combined with his fabulous humour made a lasting impression on me. When I am struggling I reflect on a few of his favourite sayings to get me through the day. So grateful to have called him my friend, Forever in my heart . 🤗 🐾☮️

Marcel shared his experience strength and hope with so many of us over the years, His kindness, wise words and ongoing commitment to give back to the recovery community was inspirational and deeply moving. Thank you Marcel for all you did for the many of us who had the opportunity to sit at the tables with you to feel and share in the love and energy of a life well lived! You will be deeply missed! May you now enjoy a seat at the big meeting in the sky with so many other amazing friends, who like you, helped blaze the path of recovery for all of us!
