Bassford, William “Bill” Clifford
At his residence, on Tuesday October 29, 2024, at the age of 74. Bill is survived by his sister Ada Blackman and his nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by the Coleman and Ballantyne families. Predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Frank Bassford, and his brother Robert Johnson. Bill was a long-time butcher at both A&P and Metro. Cremation has taken place. so sorry hear about bill was best person we knew here at 225 capel street apts on third floor i went got flyers at obsever for bill he likes looking at sales on papers i left at his door if wasent home all time sadley missed indeed :( most kind guy u could ever meet as neabour GOD BLESS BIG BILL ;(

Bill was a longtime friend of my parents Lloyd and Ruth Long (Oil Springs). He was good to my dad and had a big heart. We have memories fo him from happier days. I hope that he did not suffer at the end. Rest in peace Bill and go and visit with Dad , he will be at the Race track in the sky waiting to place a bet.
